Brianna Torres joins Grace’s coaching staff for her first season in 2023.
Torres comes to Grace on the heels of a remarkable volleyball career. She was one of the top NAIA players in the midwest while playing at Trinity International.
She graduated near the top of most statistical categories at TIU, including No. 1 in kills (2,136), matches (176) and points (2,428.5), No. 2 in aces (183), No. 3 in receptions (2,840) and No. 4 in digs (2,003).
Her final season was a memorable one. She was named the CCAC Player of the Year in 2022 and was an NAIA Third Team All-American.
She led her team to the NCCAA tournament, propelling the Trojans to the NCCAA national title in her final match. She had 17 kills and 18 digs in the championship victory and was named NCCAA First Team All-American and NCCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player.
For her career, she was a five-time All-Conference performer in all five years of her career. She was also named the 2022 AVCA Mideast Attacker and Player of the Year.
