Meritorious Service to Grace College Athletic Department

Ron and Willa both graduated from Grace College in 1958. Ron worked as the Director of Admissions (later, Dean of Admissions) from 1965-2001. He was also the assistant to the President after that from 2001-2007. He served as the Interim Athletic Director for three months in 2007.

In 1996, Ron was honored for his 40 years of service as a public address announcer. He was also honored in 2008 for his 50 years of service as a Grace faculty member. Other awards Ron has won include:

• President of Association of Collegiate Registrars & Admissions Officers, 1997
• Marv. Wood Memorial Award, 2000
• Who’s Who in America, 2004

Willa has the honor of being the first among countless Grace graduates to be hired into the Warsaw school system. She was named the Warsaw Teacher of the Year and was a semifinalist one year for the Indiana Teacher of the Year.
