The Lady Lancers (14-11) dropped a tough five-setter to Davenport in the opener before losing 3-1 to Trinity Christian.

In the opening match of the tournament, Grace played the hosts Davenport. The Lady Lancers took a set lead twice, but the Panthers pulled off a comeback to win in five sets.

Grace won the opener 25-21, using an early 9-1 run to win by four. The Panthers (14-12) jumped out to a 14-7 lead in the second game and cruised to a nine-point victory to even the match.
