CHICAGO, Ill. - Offensive issues troubled Grace's women's basketball team on Tuesday in a 68-46 defeat to Robert Morris.
Grace made just 27 percent of its field goals for the game and turned the ball over 25 times against the Eagles (7-6).
Robert Morris, who is receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25, held Grace to nine points in the first quarter. Grace was stuck on just two points for the first five minutes of the period before a 3-pointer by Gabby Miller ended the drought.
The Lady Lancers struggled to make 8-of-34 (24 percent) from the floor for the first half and trailed 34-21 at halftime.
The Eagles opened up the game in the third quarter and started the second half on a 20-5 run. Grace was unable to make a significant charge at Robert Morris's cushion for the rest of the contest.
Miller was Grace's lone double-digit scorer, collecting 10 points after making both of her 3-pointers.
Lauren Godfrey was a spark off the bench. The freshman scored nine points in 12 minutes and drilled 3-of-4 from beyond the arc.
Sarah Feasby tallied eight points and five boards, Kelsie Peterson added 5 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals, and Haley Richardson chipped in six boards and three assists.
Kelsie Peterson was named to the All-Tournament Team for the Lady Lancers (5-10) in the St. Xavier Tournament.
The Lady Lancers will play 15 consecutive Crossroads League matches to wrap up the regular season, beginning with a road trip to Spring Arbor on Jan. 2.
