MARION, Ind. - Grace's women's tennis team was unable to pull off an upset of Indiana Wesleyan on Wednesday, losing 5-1 in the semifinals of the Crossroads League Tournament.
Grace gave the Wildcats (15-0, 9-0 CL) fits in doubles. Emily Mast and Jenna Jackson produced an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles.
Jayna Armstrong and Morgan Mast battled to an 8-5 defeat at No. 3 doubles, and Molly Fitzpatrick and Carrie Copeland lost 8-3 at No. 2 doubles.
The Wildcats quickly won three singles' matches to pick up five points, ending the semifinal match.
The Lady Lancers (13-4) have one final match remaining in the fall season. Grace will host IU East on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
