WINONA LAKE, Ind. - The unbeaten start continued for Grace's men's tennis team with a 7-0 win over Huntington on Wednesday.
The Lancers (4-0, 3-0 Crossroads League) are tied for first place in the Crossroads League with Indiana Wesleyan after Wednesday's match.
Grace was dominant at Miller Athletic Complex, winning in straight sets at all six singles' courts. The Lancers also took all three doubles' courts for a clean sweep.
Pavle Popovic and Milan Savic had the closest victory in doubles, winning 7-5 at No. 1. Max Rozas and Fabricio Galvan (6-2) cruised at No. 2 doubles, and Mauricio Corty and Ramiro Candia (6-1) were even better at No. 3.
Singles' play was a complete rout for the Lancers. Rozas won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, and Popovic earned a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 2.
Galvan won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 3 singles, and Candia won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 4. Savic did not lose a game at No. 5 singles, and Corty was nearly as good with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 6.
The Lancers will head to Indiana Tech on Thursday.
