WILMORE, Ky. - Grace's men's tennis team knocked off its second team who was receiving votes in the NAIA.
The Lancers defeated Asbury 4-3 on Wednesday, two weeks after taking down Judson who was also getting votes in the NAIA Top 25 Poll.
Grace and Asbury split the singles' courts 3-3, but the Lancers claimed the doubles' point to achieve the win.
Max Rozas and Fabricio Galvan swept their opponents at No. 2 doubles, and Ramiro Candia and Jacob Gray won 6-3 at No. 3.
Pavle Popovic secured a 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 2 singles, and Galvan battled to a hard-fought 7-5, 6-3 win at No. 3.
Candia had the toughest match overall, picking up a three-set win (6-3, 4-6, 6-0) at No. 4 singles.
The Lancers remain in Kentucky on Thursday, taking on Georgetown.
