WINONA LAKE, Ind. - The weeklong run by Grace's men's soccer team is generating significant buzz at the regional and national levels.
The run was organized to raise funds for local and international COVID-19 relief funds, allowing the Lancers to make a tangible impact for those impacted by the coronavirus. 
The public has joined in wholeheartedly, raising over $2,000 within the first four hours of the run.
The media has also shined a spotlight on the event, producing a substantial amount of coverage.

FAST FACTS: GRACE'S WEEKLONG-HOUR RUN

• The run was originally scheduled from Wednesday (April 1, 2020) at 12pm (ET) until Wednesday (April 8, 2020) at 12pm (ET). It was extended to a full week after the incredible support and momentum from the community.
   
• Due to Grace's campus being emptied due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all runners will participate by themselves in their hometowns. That includes many of Grace's international players who will run all over the world, including New Zealand, Portugal, Brazil, France and Germany, among others.
   
• Each runner will take at least one 20-minute shift, ensuring someone from Grace will be running around the clock for seven consecutive days.
   
• All money raised will go to local and international COVID-19 relief funds, including IMA World Health, Salvation Army (Warsaw) and Elkhart's COVID-19 Community Response Fund. The stated goal is $10,000. GIVE NOW TO THE RELIEF EFFORTS The final funds raised totaled $20,000.
