NAIA BOUND: Women’s Soccer headed to Tennessee for Opening Round

WINONA LAKE, Ind. – For the fourth straight season, Grace's women's soccer team is headed to the NAIA National Championships.

The Lady Lancers will be making their fifth appearance to the national tournament, all under head coach Michael Voss.

No. 18 Grace is headed to the University of Tennessee-Southern to play in its Opening Round pod. The four-team pod includes No. 4 UT-Southern, No. 18, Grace, No. 25 SCAD-Savannah and Judson.

Grace will take on No. 25 SCAD-Savannah on Thursday in the opening round. With a victory on Thursday, Grace would advance to play the winner of No. 4 UT-Southern and Judson on Saturday.

The winner of each of the 10 NAIA pods will secure a spot at the NAIA final site in Orange Beach, Ala., beginning on Nov. 30.

The Lady Lancers also played at Tennessee-Southern last year for their NAIA pod. Grace won the opening match before falling to the hosts 1-0 in a hard-fought match.

Grace owns a 3-2 record in the NAIA tournament over the past two years.
