WINONA LAKE, Ind. - The men's tennis team improved to 2-0 on the young season, turning back Lawrence Technological University (Mich.) 4-0. Despite playing on their home courts, the Lancers are taking part in the IWU Invitational contested at several locations over two days.

David Sandi and Ivan Antinori started the match off with a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles. Fabricio Galvan and Ramiro Candia clinched the doubles point by taking the No. 2 match 6-1. Milan Savic and Kye Barrett were winning 5-3 at No. 3 doubles, but did not finish. With three more contests in the next two days, several matches were not completed once the overall outcome was determined.

In singles competition, Sandi won 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 1 spot. Ramiro Candia (6-1, 6-0) and Ivan Antinori (6-0, 6-4) followed with wins at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. After reaching the four points needed for the team victory, the other singles matches were halted.

Grace will face off against Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) tomorrow in a match played at Huntington University. The Lancers then travel to Indianapolis on Saturday to face St. Francis and Marian in Crossroads League action.
