HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Grace's women's soccer team had a dominant performance in Saturday's 6-0 win over Huntington.
Four different players scored in Grace's (7-3-1, 2-2 Crossroads League) wire-to-wire win, and Lady Lancers held the Foresters (2-10-1, 0-4 CL) to just one shot on goal for the game.
It didn't take long for Grace to capture the lead as the Lady Lancers struck just 2:52 into the matchup.

Grace quickly followed up the goal with two more chances, but both attempts were ended when the Lady Lancers were whistled for being offside.
Huntington had no answer for Grace's attack as the Lady Lancers' pinpoint passing allowed them to work the ball deep into the offensive zone on numerous occasions.
The Lady Lancers offense broke through again with 18:13 left in the half to double their lead. Moessinger played a ball to
Kailey Burrell who beat one defender with a skillful cut before striking the ball into the far side of the net for Grace's second goal of the game.
With a two-goal lead Grace did not relent, searching for their third goal before the halftime break. The Lady Lancers continued to pick apart the Foresters' defense with tactical passing and cashed in again with under a minute remaining.
Starting with possession near the own goal line, Grace masterfully threaded passes through Huntington players before finding Machado in front of the goal mouth. Machado finished the play by chipping the ball past the keeper.

The Lady Lancers dominated the box score in the opening 45 minutes. Grace out shot Huntington 15-1 and did not yield a shot on goal.
Grace opened the second half with more of the same, netting their fourth goal seven minutes into the half.
Moessinger sliced a low cross towards
Lilli Oberhoff who fought off a Huntington defender before settling the ball and finishing with a strong strike to move Grace's advantage to 4-0.
Tuma narrowly missed scoring a spectacular goal with a long strike that was tipped just over the crossbar as the Lady Lancers overwhelmed the Foresters with their unrelenting attack.
Marlene Menzel setup Grace's fifth goal of the match by sending a ball to Machado who left a pair of players sprawling in the box before notching her second goal of the game.
As the game neared 10 minutes remaining, the Lady Lancers would tack on one more goal.
Ashley VandenBoom and
Filipa Marques worked the ball across the field to Burrell who blasted a shot into the far corner of the net for Grace's sixth and final goal of the game.
The Lady Lancers finished the game with a 25-3 shot advantage, and put 17 shots on goal.
Libby Stratton made one save in the start. 23 players saw playing time.
Grace's next contest will take place at Goshen on Wednesday at 8 p.m.
