WINONA LAKE, Ind. - For the second time in three years, Grace men's soccer team is NAIA tournament bound.
The Lancers were announced as the No. 1 seed in the Winona Lake Bracket. Grace was previously announced as a host site for the NAIA First and Second Round, which will be hosted at 1st Source Bank Field this week.
This is the fourth time that the Lancers have made the NAIA tournament and second time earning a bid under the tutelage of head coach
Arron Patrick.
The Lancers are joined in the opening pod by Concordia (RV), Keiser (#9) and 9-time NAIA national champion Lindsey Wilson.
Grace will kick off the opening round of the tournament on Thursday at 4 p.m. against Lindsey Wilson. The opening round game between Concordia and Keiser is scheduled for 7 p.m. The winners of the opening round games will play each other on Saturday at 1 p.m.
The NAIA tournament has 10 opening round pods across the country. The winner of each pod will advance to the NAIA's final site in Decatur, Ala.
Grace will carry an 11-2-6 record into the tournament after a second-place finish in the Crossroads League. The Lancers were battle tested this year having played seven teams that also earned bids into the NAIA tournament field.
