FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Grace's bowling teams continued their seasons at the AHBA #4 tournament in Fort Wayne.
The event, part of the American Heartland Bowling Association, was held at Thunder Bowl. The women finished in 10th place, while the men landed in 14th.
The ladies knocked down 2,768 pins in team games and 2,170 pins during the baker rounds for a total of 4,938 pins (685.833 average).
Madison Anderson paced the Lady Lancers with an average score of 153.5 across four games. Cheyenne Clouse was second on the squad with an average game of 146.3, and Laura Martinez was third at 140.5.
The men collected 6,132 pins across all games, including 3,277 in team games and 2,693 in baker rounds (851.667 average).
Braydon Kunz led the way for the Lancers. He averaged 193 across four games for a total of 772 pins. Kameron Branum was only three pins behind Kunz (769) for an average score of 192.25. Corbin Payne's 183.667 average score also impressed for the Lancers.
Kunz placed 31st overall in the field, and Branum was 33rd.
Next up, the Lancers turn their attention to Crossroads League competition. Grace will host Crossroads League #3 on Jan. 28. The men will begin at Warsaw Bowl at 8:30 a.m. while the women are scheduled to start at The Bowling Alley at 9 a.m.
