FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Grace's bowling team continued its inaugural varsity season at Crossroads League No. 4, the fourth and final regular season tournament for the league.
It was held in Fort Wayne at MVP Lanes. The women finished in sixth place out of seven teams, while the men landed in seventh.
The women's team knocked down 5,483 pins as a team, topping Indiana Wesleyan by over 100 pins to grab sixth place.
Cheyenne Clouse led the way for the women, finishing in 25th place overall. She totaled 662 pins over her four individual games. Madison Anderson (624) also bowled all four individual games for Grace.
The men's squad amassed 5,638 pins for the day. The top-four finishers for the men finished in a tight grouping on the leaderboard.
Kameron Branum led the way with an average tally of 170.3. Corbin Payne (157.3), Erik Haegeland (155.3) and Braydon Kunz (153.0) rounded out the top-four finishers.
At the conclusion of the regular season, Grace finished seventh out of seven on both the men's and women's sides of the Crossroads League regular season. 2022-23 marks the Lancers' first full varsity season of collegiate competition.
The Lancers will bowl again on Saturday with the Scotty Classic in Jackson, Mich.
