Bowling earns postseason honors from Crossroads League

WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Following the conclusion of its inaugural varsity season, Grace's bowling squads collected a handful of postseason awards.

Grace had two members land on the Crossroads League All-Newcomer Team, including Erik Haegeland and Lilly Kelly.

On the league's Champions of Character Team, Braydon Kunz and Cheyenne Clouse were honored.

Academically, five members of the Lancers were named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes. To achieve Scholar-Athlete status, a student-athlete must have attended one full year at an institution and post a GPA of 3.5 or better. 

Scholar-Athlete winners include: Kameron Branum, Haegeland, Laura Martinez, Clouse and Sarah Lewis.

Additionally, Grace had several members earn academic honors from the NCBCA (National Collegiate Bowling Coaches' Association), including Martinez, Clouse, Haegeland, Branum, Madison Anderson, Sarah Lewis and Lilly Kelly.
