WINONA LAKE, Ind. – Two members of Grace's track and field team collected awards on Monday.

Heather Plastow was named the NCCAA National Track Athlete of the Week, and Bryce Willard was the Crossroads League Field Athlete of the Week.

Both athletes won events at Grace's home event last weekend at the Lancer Invitational.

Plastow won the 800-meter race with a time of 2:18.96, and she also teamed up to win the 4x400 relay at 4:07.07.

Willard made his mark in the discus. He beat out 21 competitors with his heave of 137-feet-2.

The Lancers are heading to the postseason next. Grace will tackle the 2023 Crossroads League Championships (at Marian) this week on Thursday and Friday.

Grace will then take on the NCCAA Championships (May 10-12) and the NAIA Championships (May 24-26) to conclude the season.
