FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Grace women's golf team finished up the battle at Brookwood Tournament on Tuesday afternoon.
The Lancers were represented by the "B" squad, who competed against the six other Crossroads League teams.
Grace closed out the two-day tournament with a score of 710, which was just one stroke off of fourth place.
Freshman
Kiley Standring led the charge for the Lancers with a ninth place finish. In her collegiate debut, Standring carded identical marks of 82 in both rounds.
Next in line for Grace was
Sydney Cesare whose score of 175 was good for a top-20 placement.
Reagan Clifton followed just three strokes behind with a mark of 178.
Leah Starcher and
Raigan King saw vast improvement in the second round of the tournament, cutting off a combined 20 strokes from their first round marks.
The Lancers will be back in action on Friday to kickoff the two-day Players Club Invitational.
