WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Ivy Cline of Grace's women's soccer team was selected as the Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.
Cline had a big hand in Grace's two Crossroads League Tournament victories this week. She recorded eight saves across Grace's two shutouts, including five saves in a 1-0 win over No. 6 Indiana Wesleyan.
The Lancers took down Bethel and IWU in the quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively. Grace will play for the Crossroads League Tournament championship on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at No. 2 Marian. The winner of the CL Tournament receives an automatic bid to the NAIA National Championships.
No. 16 Grace (15-2-3) is enjoying one of its best seasons in team history, already setting program records for most goals and assists offensively to go along with 15 shutouts on the defensive end.
