WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Grace College's men's soccer team earned plenty of attention with the Crossroads League postseason awards.
The Lancers had four players earn First-Team All-Crossroads League honors, and two more earn honorable mention.
The award haul was highlighted by
Luis Munoz who along with first-team honors was named the Crossroads League Midfielder of the Year and the Crossroads League Newcomer of the Year. Munoz led Grace in points with 26. Thanks to his nine goals and eight assists.
Diego Yanes,
Juan Garcia and
Vasco Tavares joined Munoz on the first-team. Yanes was a prolific goal scorer for Grace this year, netting 11 goals while Garcia led the conference with 10 assists. Tavares anchored a defense that had 10Â clean sheets.
Maxime Bregeon and
Sebastian Lozano earned honorable mention.
The Lancers are currently awaiting their postseason fate. Grace is a near lock to earn an at-large bid to the NAIA National tournament. The field will be announced on Friday night.
