WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Grace's women's soccer team earned a plethora of All-American awards following a remarkable season.
Cassidy Felger was named NAIA First Team All-American, and Nora Pollock and Zoe Mueller were NAIA Third Team All-Americans.
Felger is the second Lancer ever to achieve First Team All-American status from the NAIA in team history, joining Abby Schue's honor in 2016. Felger also was named the NCCAA National Player of the Year last week.
Academically, Grace racked up All-American honors. Ivy Cline, Mueller and Felger were named First Team Academic All-America by the College Sports Communicators (CSC). Rylee Burns was a Second Team Academic All-America recipient.
The Academic All-Americans, along with Rosalie Gefrorer and Madelief Lowik, were also Academic All-District honorees by the CSC.
Grace also had nine Scholar-Athletes, including Felger, Elizabeth Maciejewski, Feline Abbo, Hannah Medlin, Ivy Cline, Lowik, Gefrorer, Burns and Mueller.
Grace finished the year ranked No. 12 in the NAIA postseason Top 25 Coaches' Poll. The majority of the Lancers return next year, armed for another strong season.
The Lancers (16-2-5) outscored their opponents 83-9 this year, yielding just 0.39 goals per game on average. Grace won the Crossroads League Tournament for the first time in program history and advanced to the NAIA Round of 16 under head coach Michael Voss.
