WARSAW, Ind. - Grace's men's tennis team snapped a two-game losing streak with a 6-0 sweep of Judson on Wednesday.
The NAIA No. 14 Lancers (14-3) made quick work of the Eagles while playing indoors at the Warsaw Racquet Club.
Grace won two of the three doubles' courts to win the first point. Pablo Gregori and Salva Pons won 6-2 at No. 1 doubles, and Luis Cordoba and Benjamin Rahine won 6-4 at No. 3.
In singles' play, Grace won each court in straight sets. Manuel Marques had the swiftest win at No. 6 (6-3, 6-0), and Salva Pons (6-4, 6-2) and Artur Pons (6-3, 6-3) won respectively at No. 2 and No. 3 singles.
Cordoba held off a late charge to win 6-2, 7-5 at No. 4 singles, and Gregori battled to a 7-6 (1), 6-3 victory at No. 1.
The Lancers' next scheduled match is April 3 against No. 5 Northwestern Ohio.
