COLUMBUS, Ind. - Grace College's women's golf team completed the first 36 holes of the Crossroads league Championships on Monday afternoon.
The Lancers currently sit in fifth place but are just a single stroke behind fourth-place Bethel and 13 strokes behind third-place Taylor.
On the individual side of things the Lancers had a pair of players holding top-10 positioning at the conclusion of day one.
Grace May and
Grace Beerman turned in identical two round scores of 161 and currently sit deadlocked in ninth place. Beerman had the Lancers' lowest single round score with a 79 in her second round.
Falling just two strokes behind them was freshman
Camille Short. Short had marks of 82 and 81 and sits in 13th position while fellow freshman
Trinity Bramer shot an 85 in both rounds.
Brette Hanavan closed out the scoring for the Lancers with a two round total of 171.
The Lancers will be back in action tomorrow to close out the tournament. Hanavan will be first to tee off at 8:30 a.m.
