RICHMOND, Ind. - Grace College's women's golf team got the 2025-26 season underway at the IU East Fall Invitational.

The 36-hole tournament saw the Lancers take second place in the 12 team field. Grace bested conference foe Huntington and finished just behind IU East who were playing on their home course.

"This was a really good start to the season," commented Grace head coach Denny Duncan. "Trinity Bramer and Camille Short obviously led us and made the all-tournament team, but I thought each of the ladies turned in at least one really solid round of golf."

Bramer led the way for Grace with a top-five finish. The sophomore scored a 79 during the opening round on Friday and cut off three strokes of her score to close out the weekend with a mark of 155.

Teammate Short was just a stroke behind as she carded a 156 and finished tied for sixth place out of 68 golfers.

Brette Hanavan had a 159 and Grace Beerman carded a 161. Sophomore Kiley Standring rounded out Grace's "A team" scoring with 164.

Freshman Lexi Kelley impressed in her collegiate debut. She led the b team with a 36-hole score of 164. Fellow freshman Ava Thomas was just off her pace as she carded a 168.

Reagan Clifton closed out her season opening tournament with a mark of 175 and senior Raigan King tied her career record for single round low with a mark off 88. She finished with a two day total of 181.

The Lancers will be back in action on September 8 as they take part at the Pilot Invitational at Pretty Lake Country Club.
