WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Hunter Walston of Grace's men's basketball team earned the Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week award on Monday.
Walston was a defensive force during the Lancers' two Crossroads League Tournament victories.
He tallied 5 steals, 3 blocks and 7 rebounds on defense while adding 17.0 points and 4.5 assists per game on offense.
Grace took down Spring Arbor and Bethel to open up the league tournament.
The Lancers will now play at home for the Crossroads League Tournament on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center. Grace will square off with Indiana Wesleyan.
Grace is taking aim at an unprecedented fifth straight CL crown. The Lancers' four consecutive tournament championships is already a league record for men's basketball.
