UPLAND, Ind. - Grace's women's tennis team picked up its second conference victory of the spring season, taking down Taylor 7-0 on Tuesday afternoon. 

Grace is enjoying a strong stretch of play. The team has won four of its past five matches, including two wins in a row.

The Lancers started off the match strong with a sweep on the doubles courts. 

Molli Runestad and Lauren Harris partnered at No. 3 doubles, winning unblemished 6-0. Jimena Ramirez and Faith Valentine secured the point with a 6-1 showing on court one. Shannon Brumbaugh and Landry Schrock completed doubles play with a 6-3 triumph.

Grace continued its dominance when play switched to singles play. The Lancers won every singles' match in straight sets.

Ramirez (No. 1 singles) and Valentine (No. 2) each won their match by 6-1, 6-0 scorelines. Runestad at No. 3 only dropped two games (6-0, 6-2).

Brumbaugh at No. 4 and Schrock at No. 5 cruised in their matchups by the same score of 6-2, 6-1. Harris wrapped up the singles' sweep with a 6-4, 6-0 victory at No. 6.

Grace will continue league play on Saturday at the Don Cramer Tennis Courts. First serve against No. 21 Indiana Wesleyan is set for 11 a.m.
