CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Grace's men's tennis team kicked off its trip to Kentucky with a 5-2 win at Campbellsville on Monday.
The No. 17 Lancers earned the doubles' point to take the early advantage.
Benjamin Rahine and Mahefa Rakotomalala won the top doubles' court 6-2. Andreas Polichronopoulos and Manuel Marques won by the same score at No. 2 doubles.
The Lancers speedily clinched the match during singles' competition. Marques cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles, and Polichronopoulos won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1.
Rahine secured the victory by winning 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2 singles.
Additionally, Aurelien Coan added another win, battling from behind to win 3-6, 6-4, 10-6 at No. 6 singles.
The Lancers' trip will continue with a pair of top-10 matches over the next two days. Grace will take on No. 5 Lindsey Wilson and No. 8 Cumberlands on Tuesday and Wednesday.
