WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Grace College's men's tennis team blew by St. Francis with a 7-0 victory over the Cougars on Thursday afternoon.

The Lancers (10-6, 5-1 Crossroads League) won in convincing fashion up and down the card, taking the matchup without dropping a set to the visiting Cougars.

Benjamin Rahine and Mahefa Rakotomalala swept their way through the No. 1 doubles matchup while Andreas Polichronopoulos and Manuel Marques secured the point for Grace at No. 3 doubles

In singles action the Lancers continued to display their talent. Polichronopoulos won from the No. 1 slot 6-0, 6-2 and Rahine took the No. 2 singles battle with a pair of 6-0 set victories.

Aurelien Coan won a hotly contested battle in the middle of the card but still enjoyed a straight set victory with wins of 6-3 and 6-4. Marques won at the No. 4 position 6-3, 6-1.

Rakotomalala matched Rahines' performance with straight-set shootouts. Stergios Papadopoulos secured the clean sweep with wins of 6-2 and 6-1.

The Lancers will be home again on Saturday when they host RV Bethel.
