WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Matt Friesema wrapped up his Lancer career by being named to the All-Crossroads League Team.
The Grace baseball standout was chosen as a Second Team All-League honoree following an impressive campaign.
Friesema ranked 12th in the Crossroads League with a .363 batting percentage. He had 57 hits in his 46 games, boasting a .431 on-base percentage and a .592 slugging percentage. He belted 12 doubles with eight home runs.
For his three-year Lancer career, he finished with 125 hits, 78 RBIs, 27 doubles and 13 home runs with a .317 batting average.
His 57 hits this spring ranks seventh for a single season in team history, and his eight homers are tied for the ninth-most ever in a single year.
