WINONA LAKE, Ind. — Grace College Softball is excited to announce a new partnership with Glass Sports Performance (GSP). GSP owner and founder Justin Glass will serve as the team's hitting consultant for the upcoming season.
Glass will work closely with the Grace coaching staff and student-athletes to help develop a consistent, competitive offensive approach throughout the year. His instruction will focus on improving swing efficiency, approach at the plate, and helping hitters translate practice into game performance.
"I'm incredibly excited to partner with Grace Softball," said Glass. "The opportunity to work alongside the coaching staff and help develop hitters who are committed to competing at a high level is something I'm passionate about. My goal is to provide the athletes with practical tools, confidence, and an approach at the plate that translates into consistent performance throughout the season."
Head coach Amanda Jones added: "This is an unprecedented and undeniable move forward for our program, and I can't wait for Justin to bring his expertise to our hitters! We are blessed and thankful to not only partner with GSP on the field, but to have gotten to know Justin and Andrea and continue to build that relationship."
Glass and his wife Andrea own Glass Sports Performance in Fort Wayne, Ind., where they specialize in sports performance training, hitting and pitching development for baseball and softball athletes. Over the past five years, they've helped more than 80 athletes continue their playing careers at the collegiate level, earning a reputation for developing athletes through individualized instruction and a results-driven training environment.
Before launching Glass Sports Performance, Glass enjoyed his playing career at the University of Cincinnati. He finished third all-time in career hits while appearing in 222 consecutive games, demonstrating remarkable consistency and durability throughout his collegiate career. His accomplishments include being named a 2011 Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American, 2011 Second Team All-BIG EAST, 2012 First Team All-BIG EAST and 2014 Third Team All-American Athletic Conference selection.
The partnership reflects Grace College Softball's continued commitment to providing its student-athletes with elite instruction and resources that support their development both on and off the field. By adding Glass as the program's hitting consultant, Grace aims to continue building an offensive culture centered on preparation, confidence and consistent execution.
Grace College Softball and Glass Sports Performance look forward to working together throughout the upcoming season as they pursue continued growth and success.
