WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Reagan Owens of Grace's volleyball team was recognized nationally on Monday.

Owens was named the NCCAA National Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Lancers' back row.

The sophomore collected 55 digs this week, including an impressive 8.25 digs per set in the Lancers' upset win over No. 19 MVNU. She posted a .972 serve receive percentage as well.

No. 23 Grace is off to a roaring start to the year, posting a 17-3 record. The Lancers have won 14 of their past 15 matches, including three upset wins.

The Lancers will head to Bethel on Wednesday for their next match. Grace will then be home for two matches, including Saturday against Goshen and Sept. 30 against IWU.
