2016 JUNIOR — Saw time in 10 games from the mound, primarily in relief … did not give up a run in an inning of work against Oakland City … threw two straight league games against Marian and Taylor without allowing a run to score … struck out two batters against Indiana Wesleyan … started only game of the season against Lourdes … did not allow a hit or walk in relief against Rio Grande.
2015 SOPHOMORE – Made 11 appearances from the mound … started in five games, tied for fourth on the staff … ended the season with a five-hitter against St. Francis, tossing all seven innings and striking out three … gave up three hits in 4.2 innings of work against Spring Arbor with three strikeouts … struck out three batters in five innings during a win against University of Mary … did not allow a hit in an inning of relief against Indiana Wesleyan … was credited with the win from the mound in his first two outings of the season against Hiwassee and Mary.
2014 FRESHMAN – Had nine appearances in first season … made three starts from the mound, striking out 14 batters in 17.1 innings … had three RBIs in nine at-bats, driving in all three runners in a doubleheader with St. Francis … pitched four innings against Clearwater Christian in first collegiate game and struck out six … tied a season high with six strikeouts in three innings against Spring Arbor.
PREP – A 6-foot-3 pitching ace from Morgan Township … earned All-Conference honors for Morgan Township after his junior and senior seasons … graduated from the school as the all-time leader in pitching wins and strikeouts … was a major piece in the team's back-to-back sectional championships during his final two years at Morgan Township … overall for his career, Dougherty racked up 20 wins from the mound and fanned 253 batters … posted a 1.83 ERA with 102 strikeouts, tallying a 9-3 record as a junior … was named Morgan Township's Most Valuable Player and Most Improved Player during his high school career … was named to the Indiana Elite All-Star team.
