2022-23 JUNIOR - Saw time in all 35 games, averaging 21.7 minutes per game … reached 1,000 points for his career during the season … produced 8.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 0.7 steals per game … shot 56 percent from the floor … had 14 games of scoring in double figures, led by 18 points in 18 minutes on 7 of 8 shooting against Great Lakes Christian … had 14 points and 12 boards in a win at (#RV) Huntington … tallied 14 points and eight boards in the Crossroads League Tournament championship win over No. 15 Huntington … posted a double-double with 11 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals to beat No. 21 Freed-Hardeman at the NAIA national tournament … passed out a season-high six assists against both No. 16 Marian and Judson … finished with 12 points (6-7 FG), 7 rebounds and 6 assists to beat No. 16 Marian … scored in double figures in four straight games against Huntington (twice), Bethel and Marian.

2021-22 SOPHOMORE - Repeated as a Second Team All-Crossroads League performer … Played in 35 games with 34 starts … averaged almost 28 minutes per game, second-most on the team … was third on the team with 12.3 points per game and fourth with 5.3 rebounds … shot 52 percent from the floor and 32 percent on 3-pointers … handed out 80 assists, third-most on the team … had 36 steals, second-most on the team … scored in double figures 27 times … had a stretch of 12 straight games during the Crossroads League season with 10+ points … scored a season-best 31 points on 12 of 20 shooting against Goshen … tallied 11 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 1 block to upset No. 7 Indiana Wesleyan in the semifinals of the Crossroads League Tournament … averaged 19 points per game in Grace’s sweep of Bethel … had 15 points, 7 boards and  4 assists in Grace’s win over No. 11 Marian … tallied 11 points, 7 rebounds and 3 boards to help the Lancers upset No. 1 St. Francis … had 16 points, 5 boards and 2 steals in Grace’s win over No. 11 Olivet Nazarene in the NAIA Opening Round final.

2020-21 FRESHMAN - Named Second Team All-Crossroads League after rookie campaign … also member of League All-Freshman team … averaged 12.0 points and 5.2 rebounds per game … shot .610 from the floor and .721 from the free throw line … scored in double figures 21 times, including a streak of 10 straight games … hit for season-high of 22 points in back-to-back NCCAA National Tournament contests … scored 21 points in upset over No. 1 IWU … grabbed 10 rebounds vs. Great Lakes Christian … posted 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists against Huntington.

PREP - An accomplished player from Chesterton… named MVP of the Duneland Athletic conference during his senior year… averaged 16.7 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.7 steals during the 2019-20 season… named to the Inndiana Junior All-Star team in 2018-19… was a high honorable mention for the Indiana All-Star team in his senior season…  helped lead Chesterton their first sectional title since 1987 in his junior year… 2019 IBCA/Subway Underclass All-State team member.

COACH SCOTT’S COMMENTS: "The first time I saw Jake play I remember writing down his name because I thought he was the best player on the floor. He was absolutely dominating. After the event was over, I found out that he was only a sophomore playing up against all juniors & seniors. Jake has continued to get better and better and seeing him lead his team is refreshing as a basketball coach. He plays with a great motor and does so many things well. He is a tremendous young man and we are so excited to have him join us!"
