PREP – Graduated high school from Resurrection Catholic in Ontario, Canada … played summer ball with the Waterloo Tigers … as a senior he pitched in 15 games primarily in relief, picking up five saves … posted a season ERA of 3.15 and a WHIP of 1.58 … struck out 17 batters in 13.1 innings … also batted .301 from the plate in 113 at-bats … notched 10 extra-base hits with eight doubles, driving in 18 runs and scoring 25 himself.
