2014 FRESHMAN – Made 33 appearances with 13 starts in his first season … scored 11 runs, coming off the bench as a valuable pinch runner … stole three bases … pitched in 11 games and 14 innings in relief … tripled, drove in two runs and scored a run against Indiana Wesleyan … notched first career hit against Purdue North Central … plated a run in four consecutive games against Bethel and Huntington … tossed two scoreless innings of relief against Holy Cross with two strikeouts and repeated that effort against Indiana Wesleyan … pitched a scoreless inning from the mound against Mt. PREP – A versatile player from Rim of the World (Calif.) High School … played pitcher, shortstop and centerfielder in high school … in the fall of his senior year, he tallied a 5-0 pitching record while playing against some of Southern California’s top competition … posted a 2-1 pitching record with a 3.00 ERA as a junior despite missing some of the year with injury, also topping .300 from the plate … a three-year member of the school’s soccer team, serving as team captain in his senior season.
