INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Grace's track and field team performed at the Marian Invitational on Friday.
The meet was Grace's final tuneup of the indoor season before jumping into postseason play. The meet was held at the newly repurposed Fall Creek Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
Grace will return to the complex next week for the 2024 Crossroads League Championships on Feb. 16-17.
On the men's side, Grace had three finishers in the top-eight in the 1,000-meter run. Aden McCarty was fourth with a time of 2:43.39, Hudson Fisher was sixth (2:48.76) and Ian Harrold finished seventh (2:49.86).
Grace finished 6-7-8 in the 60 dash between Daniel Stoll (7.16), Ethan Cummins (7.22) and Mick Wright (7.25).
Stoll was also 10th in the 200 with a time of 22.58.
Justin Farris placed sixth in the high jump (6-feet-0.75), and Brock Lengacher was seventh in the weight throw (48-11.5) and 10th in the shot put (45-1.5).
Connor Etchison was eighth in the shot put (41-5.75), and Ethan Brown was right behind him (40-3.5).
On the women's side, Mackenzie Parker ended in fifth place in the shot put with a heave of 38-8.25.
Zoe Huley grabbed seventh place in the 200 when she crossed the finish line in 26.63. Olivia Adkins earned eighth in the 400 (1:00.86).
Cadence Manning (800m; 2:22.84), Heidi Spahr (1000m; 3:28.35) and Caroline Kolb (3000m; 11:21.78) each placed ninth in their respective races.
Several ladies also finished 10th in their events, including Lanae Crowe in the weight throw (46-6.25), Breanna Hyde in the long jump (16-8.75), Emily McCreary in the high jump (4-11.75) and Emma Conrad in the 60 hurdles (9.70).
The women's 4x400 relay team also grabbed third place; Manning, Karris Sigler, Elyse Genzink and Paula Fernandez combined for a time of 4:14.92.
