WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Morgan Welch of Grace's track and field team was honored with a national award on Monday.

Welch was named the NCCAA National Track Athlete of the Week for the Lancers.

Welch won one event and finished as the runner-up at the 2026 Little State Championships. She won the 1,500-meter race and teamed up for a 4x800 runner-up finish, hitting an NAIA "B" standard in the relay. 

The Lancers are preparing for the 2026 Crossroads League Championships, beginning April 30 in Marion, Ind.
