Sauder runs to NAIA All-American honors

MARION, Ind. - Grace's track and field team put the final touches on the 2024 season at the 2024 NAIA National Championships on Friday.

Kylie Sauder registered the highlight of the day, adding another All-American honor in the 800-meter finals. She placed fourth in the nation, crossing the finish line in 2:11.10.

Grace's women's program now has six NAIA Outdoor All-American all-time honors — Sauder is part of all six (including relays and individual events).

Dimitri Margaritidis ended his remarkable career in the 1,500 finals. He placed 13th in the nation with a time of 3:56.72.

Lanae Crowe started the day for Grace in the discus. She reached 135-feet-10 on her first attempt, ending in 23rd place.

As a team, Grace's women placed 19th in the meet with 13 points. The men had three points to finish 62nd.

The Lancers ended the week with four NAIA All-American honors, including Sauder's 800 finish on Friday.
