WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Grace's baseball team had two members garner recognition for their performance on the diamond in 2024.
One Lancer was named All-Conference First-Team and one was named All-Conference Second-Team.
Maximo De Leon locked up the second all-conference award of his career, earning First-Team honors this season.
De Leon, who became the career stolen base leader this year, led Grace in multiple offensive categories. He played in all 49 games for the Lancers to lead the team with a .339 batting average. He clubbed a team-high 59 hits on the season with 11 doubles, 2 triples and 4 home runs. On the bases, he swiped 24 bags, moving him into sole possession of the career mark (53), and scored 52 runs.
Sean Gannon was selected to an All-Conference team for the first time in his career, getting the Second-Team nod.
Defensively, he handled catching duties behind the plate and was a backstop for the Lancer pitching staff. He threw out ten base runners attempting to steal over the course of the season.
At the plate, the sophomore batted .293 on the year with 46 hits and 28 RBIs. He knocked 15 extra-base hits with 11 doubles and four home runs.
