WINONA LAKE, Ind. - The combined efforts of Grace's cross country and track and field teams resulted in a plethora of academic awards.
The Lancers achieved numerous regional and national awards for their work in the classroom.
Dimitri Margaritidis, Logan Rufenacht and Anna Hulstedt were named First Team Academic All-America by the College Sports Communicators (CSC). Korry Hamlin earned Second Team Academic All-America recognition.
Hayden Mullett, Noah Zimmerman, Katie Acker, Tara Friesen, Mallory Hiatt and Mackenzie Parker were named CSC Academic All-District.
All of the CSC All-District and All-America honorees were also selected as NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Other Scholar-Athletes for the men included: Carson Martin, Carter Clear, Dakota Ames, Francisco Marquez, Harrison Wealing, Ian Harrold, Josiah Thompson, Justin Van Prooyen and Matthew Helton.
Scholar-Athletes for the women include: Addison Grady, Avery Samms, Bella Dickhut, Cassandra Cross, Claire Horvath, Ellie Wagoner, Emily McCreary, Emma Conrad, Emma Lingenfelter, Grace Geller, Grace Gross, Kaelyn Johnson, Karris Sigler, Karsyn Stewart, Kate Hornocker, Kiara Gill, Kristen Travis, Madelyn Skidmore, Madelyn Yoder, Makayla Neal, Malia Butler, Morgan Welch, Samantha Bigham and Shannon Farnsworth.
