COLUMBIA, S.C. - Grace's track and field team will need to make room in its trophy case after an action-packed final day of the 2025 NCCAA National Championships.
Grace won three event national titles and had eight All-American finishes on Friday. The women's team wrapped up the meet as the national runners-up, and the men's team finished tied for fourth place in the country.
For the meet, Grace finished with five event national titles and 14 All-American finishes.
Grace's women have placed in the top-two of the NCCAA outdoor meet for five straight years.
Kylie Sauder was part of three event national titles. She clinched gold in the 800-meter run with an NAIA "A" time of 2:11.53. In the 1,500, she broke the tape in 4:40.68.
Sauder also teamed up with Olivia Adkins, Cadence Manning and Morgan Welch to win the 4x400 relay in 4:00.17.
For the men, Brady Hunsberger was a national champ in the 800 (1:52.51); he was followed closely by Carter Clear in fourth (1:54.75) and Ty McPhatter in fifth (1:55.55). Hunsberger also claimed ninth place in the 1,500.
Tame Bayliss was the national runner-up in the 5,000 (18:23.51), and Grace Geller was not far behind in fifth place (19:18.60).
Brock Lengacher was also national runner-up in the hammer with a heave of 159-feet-8.
Grace Pettit achieved All-American status in the women's 3,000 steeplechase by placing third (11:33.81). Carter Clear also earned bronze in the men's steeplechase (9:29.54) to collect All-American recognition.
Joining Sauder in the 800 was Welch, who grabbed sixth, Manning (eighth) and Addison Grady (ninth). Grady also placed fifth in the 1,500.
Emma Conrad finished in fifth in the 100 hurdles (15.03), and Madelyn Yoder was seventh (15.54).
Yoder and Conrad teamed up with Kaitlyn Strietelmeier and Makayla Neal to collect a fifth-place showing in the 4x100 (51.02).
Michael Muiruri claimed third in the 110 hurdles (15.67), and Adkins grabbed seventh in the 400 (59.53).
Lanae Crowe finished ninth in the hammer and 11th in the shot put, and Connor Etchison was 16th in the discus and 18th in the shot put.
The track and field season will officially come to a close with the NAIA National Championships. The three-day meet begins May 21 in Marion, Ind.
