SILVIS, Ill. - Grace College's men's golf team took 11th place at the NAIA National Preview on Tuesday afternoon.
The Lancers finished just six strokes out of the top 10 in the 21 team tournament which included several NAIA Top 25 teams.
Grace was paced by an impressive showing from Camron Jones. The senior golfer closed out the tournament three strokes over par, which placed him fifth out of 105 golfers in the field.
Braxton Christie also had a strong showing as she turned in a mark of nine over par, which earned him a top-20 finish.
Noah Riffle shot 76 in the second round which improved his opening mark by five strokes as he finished 46th.Â
The final scoring mark for Grace came from Max Seachrist who carded a 170. Henry Nussbaum scored a 180.
The Lancers will be back in action on Monday as they host their home match at Stonehenge.
