Men’s Golf starts league championships strong

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The 2026 Crossroads League Tournament kicked off on Monday morning for Grace's men's golf team.

The Lancers had a strong showing on the opening day.

Monday was originally scheduled for 36 holes at Coyote Crossing Golf Course. But poor weather ended Grace's day a few holes into the second round.

The tournament will conclude on Tuesday with the second round.

Grace wrapped up the first round in fourth place, shooting 304 across the first 18 holes.

Camron Jones paced Grace in the first round with a two-under 70. He currently sits in third place on the individual leaderboard with the majority of the field having completed the first round. He had only two bogeys with four birdies in a steady showing.

Noah Riffle carded a 75 (+3), sitting in a tie for 14th. Braxton Christie was just behind him with a 77.

Isaac Embry (82) and Charlie Jones (84) rounded out the team's scoring on the day.

Grace will resume competition on Tuesday at 7:30 a.m.
