Grace nabs fourth place at CL Championships

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Grace's men's golf team tied its best finish in two decades at the 2026 Crossroads League Championships.

The Lancers placed fourth in the competitive Crossroads League thanks to two steady rounds.

Grace maintained its fourth-place spot in the standings after Monday's opening round. The tournament was condensed to 36 holes as rain cut short Monday's play.

Grace battled challenging conditions at Coyote Crossing Golf Course, overcoming brisk temperatures, steady winds and slick greens. Despite the weather, Grace was consistent with two rounds of 304 as a team.

Camron Jones paved the way for Grace, shooting 73 on Tuesday. He completed the tournament with a scorecard of 70-73, finishing in a tie for third place on the individual leaderboard.

Noah Riffle also posted a top-10 showing. He tied for 10th in the conference with a steady hand of 75-76 across the two days.

Braxton Christie finished 20th (77-78). Isaac Embry was not far behind him, dropping his score by five strokes in his final collegiate round (82-77).

Charlie Jones rounded out Grace's squad with an 84-83.

Camron Jones will continue his year at the 2026 NAIA National Championships, qualifying as an individual for the third year in a row. The national tournament will be held May 12-15 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
