WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Tyler Raasch picked up two awards for Grace's men's basketball team on Monday.
Raasch was named the Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week and the NCCAA National Player of the Week.
The freshman starred in a pair of Grace victories. He averaged 19.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.5 assists per game last week. He shot a staggering 88 percent (14-16) from the floor and 100 percent on 3-pointers (3-3).
Raasch was unstoppable during No. 1 Grace's win over No. 3 Bethel, making all 11 of his field goal attempts and posting 27 points, 11 boards and 4 blocked shots.
The Lancers (19-0) are the lone undefeated team remaining in the NAIA; Grace leads the Crossroads League standings by one game over Taylor.
Grace and Taylor will face off on Saturday in Upland, Ind., at 3 p.m.
