WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Grace College's men's basketball team swept the Crossroads League Player of the Week awards after defeating No. 4 Indiana Wesleyan 84-82 in the conference championship game on Tuesday.
Ian Raasch was named the Offensive Player of the Week, and Gage Sefton was tabbed as the Defensive Player of the Week.
Raasch scored 21 points in the Lancers' two-point victory over the Wildcats, securing their fifth consecutive Crossroads League Tournament victory. He shot 7 of 9 from the floor and 2 of 3 from the 3-point line.
Sefton's defensive performance included amassing six rebounds while also tallying two blocks and a pair of steals.
The Lancers will begin NAIA National Championship play this weekend at home. Grace will host the First and Second Round games, beginning with a First Round matchup on Friday at 5 p.m. against Johnson. With a win over Johnson, Grace would play either Madonna or Southeastern on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
