SILVIS, Ill. - Camron Jones kicked off the 2026 NAIA National Championships with a solid opening round on Tuesday while representing Grace's men's golf team.

Jones fired a one-over 71 at TPC Deere Run to start the national tournament. His score puts him in a tie for 13th on the individual leaderboard, three strokes behind the tournament's overall leader.

Jones began the day well, starting on the back-nine. He finished with pars on eight of his first nine holes to go along with a birdie on the 14th hole.

His final nine holes were equally steady. He parred seven of the nine holes, and finished one-over for the day.

Jones will tee off the second round at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
