WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Grace's No. 1 women's tennis player picked up a pair of weekly honors.

Natalia Kurkova was named the NCCAA and Crossroads League Player of the Week for the Lady Lancers.

Kurkova was a perfect 6-0 last week for Grace while playing at No. 1 doubles (with Jenna Jackson) and No. 1 singles. Only one of her singles' matches needed three sets, and she blanked Trine's top singles' player 6-0, 6-0.

Grace is 2-for-2 winning the NCCAA National Player of the Week award this year. Carrie Copeland won the NCCAA's first award of the season last week followed by Kurkova's announcement on Tuesday.

The Lady Lancers will host Spring Arbor today at 3:30 p.m. at Miller Athletic Complex.
