PERU, Ind. - The Lancers took the lead after the first day and then ended up fourth out of 12 teams in their season-opening event. IU-Kokomo hosted the tournament at the Rock Hollow Golf Club.

Senior Noah Wright shot an even par 72 on the first day to come in one shot off the lead. He added a 79 on day two for a final score of 151, finishing fourth overall out of 64 golfers. Blake Lawson and Tristan Dubbs shot identical scores of 80 in each round to tie for 17th with a 160. Chase Byron finished at 162 and Payton Kelly at 166 to round out the top five.

Grace will return to action on September 20-21 at the Lawrence Tech Invitational at the Tree Tops Golf Club in Gaylord, Mich.
