LACONIA, Ind. - Grace's men's golf team kicked off the 2023 Crossroads League Championships on Monday.

The first day at Chariot Run Golf Course saw Grace grab seventh place after 36 holes. The Lancers had the fifth-best score (318) after the first round and dipped a few spots with a second-round 327.

Parker Wilburn and Blake Lawson led Grace's day-one performance with similar scores. Lawson carded a 76 in the first round followed by an 81, and Wilburn had almost the opposite result with a scorecard of 80-76. The duo both finished the day in the top 20 of the individual leaderboard.

Isaac Embry (80-85), Payton Kelly (83-85) and Chase Byron (82-93) rounded out Grace's performance on the day.

The Lancers will close out competition tomorrow with the final 18 holes.
