WINONA LAKE, Ind. - For the second straight poll, Grace's men's basketball team earned the No. 1 ranking in the NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll.
The Lancers are off to a perfect 12-0 start to the season, despite having a young team with no seniors.
Grace is one of the most efficient offensive teams in the country, scoring 95 points per game while making 55 percent of their field goals; both of those averages are third in the NAIA.Â
The Lancers outrebound their opponents by 11.6 boards per game (No. 4 in the NAIA) and block 5.8 shots per game (No. 2). Grace leads the country in assists, topping 23 helpers per game.
Half of the Crossroads League is in the NAIA poll, including No. 1 Grace, No. 7 Bethel, No. 10 Indiana Wesleyan as well as Huntington and Taylor (receiving votes).
